As many of you probably heard via social media, Esterillos was hit with a big storm last Sunday night. Due to the heavy winds the Leon family lost their roof after a tree that was struck by lightening fell on their home. We are thanking God for everyones safety, but the a number of homes in the community have experienced lots of damage. Here is a short video to show you what happened to the Leon family home:
Yesterday a new roof was put on the house due to community effort and support! But there is still a lot of work that needs done. We have started a fund to raise money for the Leon’s home and for the community. Every little bit helps so we are asking for your help. There are a couple groups of people rallying behind Pura Vida and we would love for you to join us. You can donate here through a non profit in Denver called The Lion Project. All money collect is going right into the community.
