Dennis and Kyle Leon were married in August of 2002. In 2003 they planted the multicultural (60% Latinos & 40 % Anglo) “Pura Vida Church” as a part of Free Methodist Santa Barbara. That same year they revived their local chapter of Christian Surfers. In 2005 they were blessed with their first son Elias. For the last five years the Leon family has visited Costa Rica yearly for a month; during these visits their home there has been filled with people seeking a comfortable place to share and hear about God in a non intimidating-religious environment.

For this reason they are moving to Costa Rica where the harvest is plenty but the workers are few.
