Because of the Fires that affected Santa Barbara this week, we were unable to gather for worship at our normal place in the Library branch of the east side. Thanks God for always reminding us that the building is not the church and that he does not “dwell on temples made by the hands of men”. Given the circumstances we were able to worship the Lord in a beautiful setting in a park with beach front. Some of our people were directly affected by the fire as they lost material stuff, but even on the mids of the disaster was awesome to witness them rejoicing in being alive and well and remembering that God has not forsaken us.
This was the Message that God brought to us, trough HIS WORD
Habakkuk 3:17-18
17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
